PGC Controls has been involved in literally hundreds of air conditioning projects in high rise buildings, hospitals, shopping
centers and supermarkets. The high rise building projects were located in Brisbane, Sydney and
Melbourne but other projects were scattered throughout Australia from Darwin to Launceston
including remote areas such as Mt. Newman, Alice Springs, Broken Hill and Casuarina. Some
involved the total air conditioning electrical system, whilst others involved the design
and preparation of wiring diagrams and manufacture of switchboards. |

P.G.C Controls installed, programmed and commissioned
the Direct Digital Control system for all air conditioning for the new IMAX cinema
complex.
The system installed is an Innotech Genesis2, comprising 5 Genesis
units controlling all air conditioning equipment from the chiller
control, air handling units, condenser units to the exhaust systems.
The Genesis2 software supplied is extremely user friendly and makes
monitoring and adjusting the system a simple matter for non
technical personnel.

SSW Modules
| The SSW Modular Air Conditioning Units were designed and built by Pyrecon Pty. Ltd., an Australian company
with which P.G.C Controls has had a 20 year association. The SSW Modules contain a
complete air conditioning system ready for the connection of duct work and submains.

Their refrigeration capacity ranges from 50 to 450 tons and they use from 2 to 8 compressors
(with motors ranging from 20kW to 37kW each), along with supply fans and heat rejection
system. Over 200 SSW Modules have been factory built and installed in high rise buildings,
Shopping Centres and Supermarkets throughout Australia. |
